My name is Gladwell Musau. I am a Kenyan, married to a Pole and a mother of a lovely four year old daughter. Five years ago, I left my native country, Kenya and headed to Poland for my wedding to a wonderful and God-fearing man. Before I left my country, I felt the Lord calling me into the writing ministry. While as a stay-home mum and wife, I began writing down a memoir which in His time I pray will be published and through it many will be encouraged. While I wait, I desire through this blog to reach out to you, the readers in the hope that in some way or another, you may get encouraged, inspired and motivated to trust and love the Lord with all your heart, mind and strength. For me, it is a journey, and I invite you to accompany me along the way. HEAVEN IS OUR DESTINY. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!
That is great Gladwell! Only a few have come to this realization. May God fill your dreams with realities. Wish you & your husband a life full of smiles. I would so much love to read that manuscript of yours. God bless you. Pastor David Mouti from Kenya.
“ABOUT ME | RAINBOW GULF OF LOVE” Solar Shade was
in fact a very good blog. If perhaps it owned much more pics this would certainly be quite possibly far better.
All the best -Myrtis
Your post, “ABOUT ME | RAINBOW GULF OF LOVE” was indeed well worth writing

Simply just wished to say u really did a good job.
Thanks a lot ,Phyllis

Dear Gladwell, I was reading a World Challenge Page from David Wilkerson’s Pulpit Series, if you don’t get it; it is so on target and full of scriptures and encouraging words. He was telling how when we come to God, we should come with the right view of Him, that He is loving and kind and compassionate, slow to anger and full of mercy and abundant in goodness. ‘The devil is the one who wants us to think that God os mad at us when we do wrong and is very ready to punish us, but He is a loving God keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgressions and sin. Although David made many mistakes, a committed sins He trully knew the Lord and held on to the loving promise and would not let go that…”although my house be not so with God; yet He hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation and all m desire, although He make it not to grow 2Sam 23:5 He was standing on God’s word to him and was sure He would bring it about.
It made me think of the verse in Zec. being a prisoner of hope. I am as well, my youngest of 4 children, who has always loved the Lord has even gone on a mission trip to Kenya the summer before he went away to college is now a prodigal, living with a girl. It makes my heart sad and I know hurts God more, I just keep praying and I will not stop. I know the devil has tried to sidetrack him but God has plans for my son, to be a mighty man of God. I remain a prisoner of hope, till it comes to fruition. God bless you for your site, I just typed in prisoner of hope and your site came up. Thank you for sharing your hope and your feelings. God bless you! Love, your sister in Christ, Deborah
Deborah,
It has taken awhile for me to reply but I am here finally. I can imagine the heartache and heartbreak a mother goes through to see their child walk away from their upbringing. But on the other hand, a parent’s role can only go that far…and the rest is to leave the child into God’s every loving care and trust He who is faithful ! I stand with you…as you hold on in faith. YES, its worth it to be a prisoner of hope. My heart and prayers are with you….and HIM!!!
Love and prayers,
Gladwell

Gladwell,
Thank you for your comments on my blog…I was so happy to read your ‘About Me’ part..I thank God for the vision He has given you and pray that one day He will fulfill the desires of your heart.
I never knew I could write until I had to go through a terrible loss in my life…a misscarriage..and I believe that God turned something bad in my life..to be the most beautiful one….Today, I write to encourage people going through a wilderness expereince. Hitherto He has helped me wonderfully. I also wish to publish a book in His perfect time.
I’m planning to add few blogs that I follow in my blogroll…Will surely add yours..God Bless.

Thank you, Rani. When I read your post today, I realized in some way, we have been going through the same kind of wilderness…no, mine is not a miscarriage but its a wilderness all the same. I will put up your blog on mine too. And yes, in His time…your book will be BORN!
Blessings,
Gladwell

Hello Gladwell,
I appreciate your encouraging comments on my blog. My hope, like yours, is to encourage others as they seek after God. Every time I discover someone is blessed through my writing, I am blessed. How neat to meet someone with similar heart from the other side of the world. May your writings touch many and “lead many to righteousness” (Daniel 12:3). – Jason
Thank you, Jason. That’s what the Lord has called us for…to be the light shining in the darkness be it through our words or actions. I also appreciate your stopping by here. I will keep track of your blog and hope to be encouraged and inspired to follow Him and service others. God bless you.
Gladwell
Hi Gladwell, thank you for your wonderful encouragement and comments on my blog. I read a few of your articles which I will comment on over the next few days and share my thoughts and insights with you; but seeing your about me page has inspired me to write to you and I will try to write an about me page with my own testimony to share with you and others. I am very moved by your “following” your husband and allowing God to lead you in a big decision to move from Kenya to Poland. I have not travelled much in my life, but I have always wanted to go to Uganda, your neighbour country. I pray that your ministry through your own testimony may reach many lives. In Christ’s love, Gina xx
Thank you so much, Gina for your time and also your kind words too. I pray that God will open a door for you to travel to Uganda. I haven’t been there but I know the Ugandan people are very homely and welcoming. I look forward to read about your testimony on your blog. All the best and have a peaceful weekend.
Blessings and hugs,
Gladwell
Hi Gladwell, thank you for your wonderful writing and sharing. As promised, I’ve finally written my ABOUT ME page. I hope you will get some joy in reading it and I welcome you, and anyone, to comment.
Blessings in Christ, Gina

Yes NEGST! What a small world 🙂 This is my story of Kenya and NEGST – I was all set to go and then I was re-directed somewhat…
Here are all the stories – the first ones are as I was still working through things, the very last one is the entire story – from the initial call to staying here in the states 🙂

Your life and choices are so interesting! I pray that I may learn and grow in the Lord from your blog–and that we may become friends across this internet ocean!
Be assured, the primary intent you desire for your blog–that [readers may be] “encouraged, inspired and motivated to trust and love the Lord with all your heart, mind and strength”–is truly met! YOU are an encouragement!

Actually, it was your “About Me” partial testimony that made me wonder about your full testimony. How many Kenyans, especially women, move from Kenya to Poland? Probably not many. So, I’d guess the Lord made some changes in you before you were ready to move.
Hi Larry. Yes, you are right. The Lord did a work in me before He moved me to Poland. In fact, the whole story is in my memoir which I hope will get published someday. Meanwhile, I will try to update the ABOUT ME with a few more details. Otherwise, tons of blessings to you and your family. God bless.
I too started writing about 5 years ago in the form of journaling. Writing has become a passion. It has lead to one book and I am now working on another. It is my hope, as with you, that what I write might help and encourage others.
Thanks stopping by my sight.
Hi Mike. Thank you for stopping by and sending a note. God is faithful…and as we keep our hearts set on Him…our hands will flow with WORDS FROM HIS HEART. Keep the journal going…and I pray your books will encourage many. God bless!
Hi Gladwell! I’m FINALLY getting by to see you. I’ve noticed you on my blog and then so appreciated your comment today over on the Marriage Channel of Exemplify. You were very kind.
WoW!! I have a Kenya connection, too!
My daughter and her family are missionaries to Kenya to the Maasai. They are out in Sekenani near the game reserve. I’ve been there twice now to see them. We’ve also visited friends in Nairobi.
I will enjoy visiting your blog and reading your posts very soon.
Have a blessed week!
Hi Marsha. That’s kind of you. And I am excited about the news about your daughter and family being missionaries in Kenya. What a pleasant surprise! In fact, I grew up in Nairobi and only moved away from there five years before I came to Poland for my wedding. God bless and have a great week too.
