The last time I checked….and I kept wondering, “GOD, DOES IT MATTER?” All this trusting, believing, pleading and staying at one point. “DOES IT MATTER?” So here I am and the Lord put it out well. Yes, it matters. Oh…it more than matters. I am stretching your spiritual muscles. For too long…you have confined yourself to accomodate what you can handle in your present situation. But I am here…I want you TO STRETCH, I want you TO ENLARGE, I want you to MOVE OUT….yes, because I have plans for you. In case you might wonder who this word is for…It for me….and you, and him, and her, and yes….for most of us.
DARE I SAY MORE…..read ISAIAH 54 for the bigger picture.

Wow, Gladwell, I’ve been asking myself this ever since we made our 6-month “test” move to Canada. Does it matter where we serve Him, how, to whom, etc? But going into our 4th month here, He’s showing us that it DOES matter. Not because of the specifics I just mentioned, but because we obeyed Him.
So, obedience matters, And what’s even more important, YOU matter! So glad to see you back and anticipate with joy ‘talking’ more with you!

Welcome back and thank you for this encouraging post. I love the way you related our spirituality to a muscle that needs to be excercised and I praise God for knowing how to make it strong and fit always. I sometimes ask that same question of God and that’s when He shakes up my spiritual life to show me that His purposes are greater than my small mind can ever comprehend and that just because I cannot see Him does not mean He is not there and watching. Thank you for this reminder and I’m so happy to see you back encouraging us again.

Your words of faith ministered powerfully to my spirit this morning. The passage Isaiah 54 has been God’s word for me too, on the very day my beloved husband’s body was laid to rest 21 months ago today.

Yes it matters, during this difficult season in my life, I am learning so much about myself and the faithfulness of God’s word.
It all matters… for as I look in the mirror I’m losing the image of myself and I’m starting to see more of His image in me.

I agree with the stretching. We need to be stretched. We need to be enlarged. The lost and even the church needs to see something greater than it has been seeing.
This morning I read Acts 2.

What a faithful God we have. I just felt to put this word out yesterday after a long while away from the net. We are still far from being settled…but God has and is seeing us through this phase in our lives. But above all, He has kept our heart GUARDED and STAYED in Him as we want for the purpose and plan for our lives to be revealed and accomplished.
