OF ALL GRACE

1 Peter 5:10 And the God OF ALL GRACE, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have SUFFERED a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

ALL GRACE…the God of ALL GRACE. When I read this verse this morning, something inside of me leaped with joy…yet at the same time, I felt overwhelming frightened because while, I know this scripture verse from inside out…I had missed the most important part of it. Yes, the simple but most powerful words in the whole verse…THE GOD OF ALL GRACE.

If we know the Lord, then we understand GRACE. But no, neither you nor I can claim to understand ALL GRACE. You see, in 2000, the Lord spoke to me a promise through this scripture verse and over the last ten years…I have been living, breathing, dreaming and walking this verse…yet, I hadn’t seen the seeming obvious truth. ALL GRACE means all the graces I have received over the years added up together. Notice from the above scripture of the graces I have received:

SUSTAINING GRACE: After you have suffered a little while,
Job 23:10 But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

RESTORING/PROTECTING GRACE:.he will himself restore you,
Psalm 139:5 You hem me in_ behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.

STRENGTHENING GRACE: ...make you strong,
Psalm 85:10 Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed.

ESTABLISHING GRACE:…firm,
Job 8:7 Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.

SETTLING GRACE:steadfast.
Psalm 113:9 He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children.

Friend, I don’t know about you, but the God of ALL GRACE…has over the years kept His word over the promise He gave me. IF HE HAS NOT FAILED ME, HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU!!

  1. Absolutely beautiful revelation discussion on ‘all grace!’ Like Christ…Grace is ‘alive.’ It is not a one time act at the Cross. Grace abounds in the resurrected and very ALIVE Savior..Christ Jesus! As salt ‘seasons’….so does Grace season the heart. It transforms..brings the heart from Death to Life in Him.

    Again, absolutely beautiful.

  2. We named our youngest, a daughter, Grace…because we wanted her to be a constant reminder to us of God’s grace.

What a comfort this passage is to me – the GOD OF ALL GRACE! And what a great and timely reminder.

  3. Good one! This is also the reason we have been told to come boldy unto the throne of Grace to obtain Mercy and find Grace to help in time of need. There is Grace for every situation. Bisi

  4. Thank you for this encouraging and uplifting message on Grace and the God of Grace. I feel so encouraged by your ministry of God’s word and can’t thank God enough for how he teaches us his word through faithful servants like you.

  5. Though I was saved by grace, I did not have a revelation of its true impact on my life until about ten years later. Since then, I’ve learned to wallow in grace.

So thanks for your insight on the God of all grace.

    • Hi Rani. I once had a preacher say…that ONE WORD from the throne of God can change a man for life and for eternity. Today…the God of ALL GRACE got my feet dancing and will kept them dancing in a long time to come. We all need GRACE….and graces! You are in my prayers.

      Love, Gladwell
