Isaiah 40:2-5 A VOICE OF ONE CALLING: “In the desert prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raise up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Without THE CROSS…there is no GLORY! A couple of months ago, a friend of mine sent me an email with the attached message on it. At the time…I was hurting and questioning God. Why me? Why can’t I have a life like most people, I cried to Him. Then this email arrived…and then I understood and I hope you will too.
We complain about the cross we bear but don’t realize it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we cannot.
Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
there will always be sunshine, after the rain….
Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall;
But God’s always ready, to answer your call….
He knows every heartache, sees every tear,
a word from His lips, can calm every fear…
Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish, by dawn’s early light…
The Savior is waiting, somewhere above,
to give you His grace, and send you His love.
May God fill your days with blessings!!
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!
This is beautiful, Gladwell. So encouraging. Thank you for sharing it.
HI Gladwell! That is lovely! Your friend sure Blessed you; like you Blessed me when you printed that poem. Thank you so much! Lanie
That is for sure – everyone we meet is fighting some kind of battle. Knowing that really does help to look at others in a different light.
Makes my heart ache to know so many struggle and take that hurt to so many other things and people instead of the source of life.
The Fathers heart is for us!!
I just wonder what could be of humanity if it wasn’t for the CROSS. Yes…HIS HEART IS ALWAYS FOR US!
